ArtSeal
Your style. Your terms. Your cut.
License your style. Get paid every time.
Early days — we’re talking to artists and studios now, before we build, to make sure we build the right thing.
Artists train AI models on their own work, set their own prices, and issue verifiable licenses to studios and developers. Every license is recorded on the Cardano blockchain — permanent, public proof that a studio used your style with your permission.
How it works
Simple by design.
Artists list their style
Train a small AI model on your own artwork. Set your price. Choose what kinds of licenses you offer — one project, one studio, or lifetime use.
Studios license what they need
Browse artist styles. Buy the license that fits your project. Download the model and use it in your own pipeline, on your own hardware.
Everyone has proof
Every license is recorded on the Cardano blockchain. Artists get paid. Studios get a verified certificate. Both sides are protected.
Why this matters
The question isn’t whether studios will use AI art. AI art is already here. The question is whether artists get anything from it. Your style has value, and you should be the one who profits from it — not a tech company that scraped your work without asking.
For studios: using ArtSeal means you can prove your AI art was ethically sourced. In a world where players and press are paying attention, that matters.
A creative renaissance
Most traditional artists — illustrators, painters, concept artists, character designers — never make it into games or film. Not because their work isn’t good enough, but because the pipeline between “beautiful artwork” and “game-ready asset” requires a completely different skill set: topology, UV unwrapping, render pipelines, shader compatibility. A technical wall that has nothing to do with artistic talent.
ArtSeal removes that wall. When an artist trains a LoRA on their own body of work, they’re teaching a model their visual language — their line weight, their color theory, their character proportions. From that point on, they can generate production-ready concepts that are stylistically consistent and licensable, without ever touching Blender or Unreal.
This opens the door for artists who’ve never had a path into entertainment:
- Fine artists with a distinctive style worth licensing
- Comic & manga artists whose panel work translates to stylized game concepts
- Tattoo artists whose bold, symbolic aesthetic fits UI, iconography, and world-building
- Textile and pattern designers whose work belongs in environmental art and costume design
- Illustrators who’ve done book covers and editorial work but never had a path into entertainment
None of these people need to become technical. They just need to be them — and ArtSeal handles the rest. Studios get a catalog of authentic, ethically licensed styles from real artists who are still alive, still creating, and compensated every time their work is used.
Built by Gimped Hero Games
Not a startup. An indie studio with skin in the game. ArtSeal is being developed by Seth Blakely, founder of Gimped Hero Games — an independent game studio based in Michigan. We’re building this because we use AI art tools ourselves and wanted a way to do it right. We’re not a VC-funded startup. We’re an indie studio trying to build something fair.

We’re looking for artists and studios interested in shaping what ArtSeal becomes. No commitment — just a conversation. Early artists become Founders, featured in the rotating spotlight.
