ArtSeal Acceptable Use / Content Policy

This policy applies to the ArtSeal website, the Trainer, the Tester, Studio Compute, and everything submitted through them. It is part of the Terms of Service.
1. Use only material you are entitled to use
Upload, train on, publish or submit only material you own or have permission and sufficient rights to use for that purpose. Do not:
- scrape or assemble another person's art and present it as your training set;
- submit another artist's work, a stock image, a logo, a character or other protected material without the rights ArtSeal's processing and public display would require;
- market a LoRA as reproducing another living artist's signature style, or a third party's recognizable intellectual property;
- present generated output as your original source artwork; or
- make a false attestation, commitment, profile statement or record submission.
ArtSeal can check bytes, hashes, timestamps, account and payment-provider status, and whether an attestation was recorded. Those checks cannot determine who legally owns disputed artwork. A content restriction or removal is a platform action, not an ownership ruling.
2. Prohibited sexual content and child exploitation
Child sexual abuse material
Never upload, request, generate, link to or distribute child sexual abuse material, or sexualized content involving a minor or a person presented as a minor. ArtSeal may immediately restrict access, preserve material where legally required, and report it to the appropriate authorities.
Adult-content LoRAs during the pilot
LoRAs trained on, or marketed for producing, pornography or sexually explicit material designed for sexual gratification are prohibited during the pilot. Marketing and intended use count, not only what is in the gallery.
This is a purpose-based rule, and it is the same test the payment processor applies to restricted businesses. Incidental nudity or sensuality in a figure study, a mythological or monstrous design, fine art, dark-fantasy work or mature-rated game art is not automatically prohibited. Borderline material may be restricted or referred for human review. It is not a moral judgment about the artist or the work.
3. Other prohibited content and conduct
Do not use ArtSeal to:
- impersonate a person or organization, create a deceptive account, or submit a real person's likeness for deepfake or deceptive-identity use;
- threaten, harass, exploit, dox, or promote hatred or extremist violence;
- upload malware, destructive code, stolen credentials, or anything intended to compromise a device, account, model or service;
- probe, bypass, disable or overload authentication, rate limits, private storage, model-delivery controls, Studio Compute isolation, or other security measures;
- access another person's account, private content, model file, review status, payment information or passphrase;
- scrape, crawl, harvest, index, mirror or bulk-download the Services or user content, except through a documented interface or with ArtSeal's written permission;
- automate account creation, contact submissions, interest submissions, downloads or GPU jobs in a way that evades limits;
- interfere with the Services or with another person's use of them;
- pass an ArtSeal-released model copy to someone else;
- commit fraud, unlawful transactions, sanctions evasion, or conduct a payment provider prohibits; or
- claim that an ArtSeal badge, verification or record says more than the mechanically checked facts it actually reports.
Security research requires advance written permission and a defined scope.
4. Rules for artists offering licenses
An artist offering, or preparing to offer, a LoRA license must:
- complete the applicable identity, payout and seller-review steps;
- keep profile, listing, training-commitment, model and tier information accurate;
- put original and generated work in their correct sections;
- avoid tier language that grants rights ArtSeal has not made available;
- avoid casual or misleading claims of exclusivity; and
- cooperate with reasonable requests for context during a seller review, a copyright matter, or a security investigation.
No current test-mode tier creates a real LoRA license.
5. Enforcement
ArtSeal may refuse an upload, hide or remove content, close access to a feature, suspend an account, revoke a beta invitation, or terminate access where it reasonably believes action is needed to enforce this policy or the Terms; protect users, providers or infrastructure; respond to a copyright notice or other legal process; investigate a safety or security concern; or comply with law or a service provider's requirements.
ArtSeal may preserve information where reasonably necessary for an investigation, a legal hold, a safety report, or a dispute. Enforcement should be proportionate where the circumstances allow. You can ask for human review at seth@gimpedherogames.com or through [Contact](/contact).
ArtSeal records the reason for a seller-review decision internally. The public is told only that licensing is not currently offered — ArtSeal does not publish a person's processor restriction or private review result.
6. Reporting a concern
- Copyright notices and counter-notices: follow the Copyright Complaint Policy.
- Safety, impersonation, malware or other policy concerns: seth@gimpedherogames.com, or Contact.
- Immediate danger: contact the appropriate emergency service first.
Include the relevant URL or record ID, a description, and enough information for ArtSeal to understand the report. Do not send unnecessary sensitive personal data.
7. Changes
Each version of this policy carries a version label, an effective date and a published hash of its text. ArtSeal may change these rules for later phases, providers or law. A new rule is not applied retroactively to characterize past conduct.
